Businesses start with sometimes additional financial dimensions in their Account structure. Over time, they realise, that some accounts do not need to capture certain financial dimensions any more.
It is not possible to use Active date upto across account structure line records.
If today a GL account captures 4 dimensions and in future I want only 2 of them to be captured, how is it possible?

To clarify further,we are able to edit the line record containing main account and financial dimension with Active from and Active To dates.But for the same main account, we are unable to insert a new record with a future Active from date. This new record is intended to add only 2 of the 4 financial dimensions. Nor can we create a new account structure with this condition and add to Ledger page
