It would be great to lock down items/bins that are on a physical inventory recordings/orders to ensure that no changes of inventory can happen whilst an item/bin is being counted.
Otherwise there is a risk that something might be shipped/received/journaled before the physical inventory can be performed and posted.
It's a real failing of the stock management procedure at the moment.
