Transactions under Item Ledger Entries that outside of base unit of measure will not display the base unit of measure.
When reviewing Item Ledger Entries, items that are sold in a non-base unit of measure can quickly become confusing. This is because:
a) The quantity is always converted back to the base unit of measure in the Item Ledger Entry (as expected).
b) The unit of measure displayed in the Item Ledger Entry is not converted back to the base unit.
For example,
1) Item has base unit of measure of PCS
2) Item has a sales unit of measure of BOX, which has a quantity per of 10 PCS.
3)The item is sold on a Sales order with a quantity of 10 BOX
4)The Item ledger entry will display a quantity of 100 and a unit of measure of BOX
We propose the following options:
1) Ensure that the unit of measure displayed on the Item Ledger Entry is always the base unit, so that it matches the quantity.
2) Add additional fields:
- Item Unit of Measure
- Base Unit of Measure.
This issue happened for all the transactions that have conversion.
