Sales Quote Expiration - Convert to Order Warning

The quote Valid to option is great, but there should be the facility to warn if a user selects 'Make Order' and the quote has expired. It would also be very useful to heighted the quote valid to date in red to make it clearer to the user that the quote has expired.

Hi,

SCENARIO:

Today = 8/18/2021 , BC workdate = 8/15/2021
based on our work date, the order date (8/15/2021)& document date (8/15/2021) on sales quote get auto filled in when creating a new sales quote.

based on: Sales & receivables setup page --> "quote validity calculation" = 2D : when creating a new sales quote for any customer, the field "quote validity to date" is auto filled in with 8/17/2021.

PROBLEM: When on "Sales Quote" document , process --> make Order --> when the work date of the user is 8/18/2021 & "quote valid to date" is 8/17/2021" , why does BC make the order without any error notification ?

The field "quote valid to date" has no functional use yet ?
