Our team demonstrated the Project Service solution three times over the past week. During these demonstrations we received a common request.
The audience requested a schedule board type view that shows the timeline of all projects in one view. Projects would reside on the Y axis where Resources reside today. Time would continue to reside on the X axis. Within the overall timeline of the project, there would be sub-blocks of time with the resources name on it. This provides a one screen view of all active projects, who is working on what when. The scheduler can then make a decision regarding moving a resource off one project onto a higher profile client from a lower profile client.
The clients were rather large.
Client "A" - Global Company $2.3 billion 27k employees. Recently added 1,000 licensing seats.
Prospect "B" - Global Company. 525 licensing seat potential.
Prospect "C" - Global Company. 500+ licensing seat potential (Addition of three child companies). Two companies of the parent company are already clients.
