When a user has two factor authentication enabled in Office 365, they are unable to use email functionality from within GP. GP will continuously prompt for exchange credentials. Thus, if a user(s) need to email from GP they have to remove the two factor authentication. This could lead to some IT Security issues within the organization.

CONGRATULATIONS!! This has been implemented!

We really need 2FA support as soon as possible; automated Email notifications (workflows) are not being sent from GP.

Our company policy requires MFA is applied to all accounts. By disabling this feature poses a security risk and goes against a specific security policy. In light of the popularity of email scams I'm surprised that Microsoft hasn't addressed this issue yet.

Customer is confused why their Microsoft Dynamics GP can't communicate with Microsoft Office 365. Please implement MFA!

I'm pretty sure this is the reason that emailing out of GP doesn't work with a lot of O365 tenants, Modern Authentication is starting to be enabled by default, and Basic Auth is disabled on some. If we start allowing Modern Auth, we'll get 2fA support as well.
