Have the ability to have planning use the Production lead time from Item coverage on a product for planning but have active routes for costing purposes.
Issue:
If I set the Production lead time on the Item coverage and override Capacity time fence to 0 on the Master plan, that it ignores the Capacity time fence and continues to use the route while using Planning Optimization.
Using old MRP, if the Capacity time fence is turned off, it ignores the route and uses the Production lead time but with Planning Optimization, it does not.

We are in the process of implementing D365 and this capability would be extremely helpful. We currently schedule this way, and while we see the advantages of capacity management, we are not ready to make that leap a go live, that feels like a disaster in the making. We'd like to move into capacity management after the initial implementation is complete.
Please seriously consider making this change.
