The project task view within each individual project is slow to load and is limited on what you can view (for example custom fields). Using the native Project Task view is a simple work around, especially for team members who have a number of tasks across projects, but you can't filter or search by assignee (only owner). Adding assignee as an option would make this view much easier to leverage.
