We enable customers in Shopify to create their own bundles. A bundle consists, for example, of 3 products, each available in 15 different options. This results in several thousand possible combinations. These combinations should be correctly represented in the order and the generated invoice so that customers can clearly identify the bundle item and the associated individual items. This is also crucial for picking and assembling the sets accurately. Additionally, it is important that the stock of the respective bundle items is correctly deducted after sales. Furthermore, we want to track how many bundles we have sold.

Our use case for bundles is a little different than described above, but in all the documentation it appears item bundles and packaging multiple items together does not exist in Business Central but only in Dynamics 365. We want to bundle 2 different product lines into a single customer purchase, and then recognize the revenue differently for the 2 portions. The membership subscription portion is deferred and the rest is recognized immediately. We are looking for a way to combine allocation accounts with deferral templates, but our sales are happening in our Salesforce CRM and the invoices are created in BC as item sales.. if we were able to set up bundled items that would simplify this set up immensely.
