When you have made a quote and linked an attachment to this quote, i.e. a technical document, and the quote is archived, then the attachment is not linked to the archived quote. The attachments should be linked to the archived quote too. If you then would make a new quote, and to do so, you copy from the archived quote, the attachments should be copied to the new quote too.

It is very important for this functionality to exist. We are going to use purchase quotes in BC to keep track of our RFQ process and without the attachments in the archive, we won't have records of why a quote was rejected or won in the system.

The idea behind this is that you could make some 'template' quotes acting as configurators.

Each 'template' quote can contain a certain combination of articles i.e. a specific machine + all items that are possible options with this machine.
In attachment you can add one are more technical documents with info and illustrations about the machine. You can have multiple 'template' quotes for all frequent used configurations.

This way it is easy for a vendor to make a new quote based on a 'template' quote. He does not have to remember all possible options to add.

We don't want to keep these 'template' quotes in Quotes because this gives a wrong image of open Quotes.
To copy the 'template' Quotes to Archived Quotes is perfect because you can make a new Quote by copying an archived Quote.

The only problem is: Unfortunately the attachments are not linked. Actually I think this might be considered as a bug.
