It is understood that these Items of Types that are not Inventory don't have Planning Parameters to calculate a plan for supplying these - these are non-tracked supplies inventory. However, a Purchaser should be able to insert/add lines to the Requisition Worksheet for Non-Inventory Items that are required to be purchased along with regular inventory.

My customer would also like this feature. The requisition line already supports type G/L Account so it makes sense that Items of type Service and Non-Stock are included.

I have a Customer who is in need of this fix as well.
They are using the requisition worksheet in many shops for buying small non-inventory items like pens etc., but can't use the Item types "Non-inventory" and "Services", as they can't manually type these lines in the requisition worksheet.

I created a support ticket a few weeks ago with Microsoft to allow non-inventory items on the requisition worksheet as our customers asked for this functionaity to request the purchase of supply items.
We also really need to be able to use the Non-inventory items on bills of materials and production orders!
