Companies lookup values change over time, the obsolete values need to be hidden so that end users do not continue to select them by accident.

It would really help if all picklist fields included valid from and to dates and where a value has expired do not display that to end users as a default. Obsolete values to be viewed by deliberate choice but not default.

All picklist fields to include custom fields not just standard.

This has been needed for a long time and is especially necessary in university implementations where HESA (a statutory obligation) necessitates changing values potentially annually.
