It currently requires a custom report to identify what product configuration model is attached to a particular item making maintenance difficult. There is no navigation path from item to PCM or vice-versa This enhancement would treat the PCM similar to a BOM for an item/product in the manufacturing company The idea is 1. to have a button on the engineering tab of the item detail page that creates a new product configuration model and a non-approved product configuration model version connected to the product 2. to have a button on the engineering tab of the item detail page that opens the product configuration model version form 3. to have a button on the engineering tab of the item detail page that opens the active product configuration model for edit
