On the Dynamics 365 for Phones App, emails can be created and sent from a Contact record using the email field, but cannot be created or sent from the Timeline on any entity.

We have a business process flow on the Case entity that uses a workflow to create an email with attachments. The email is not sent immediately by the workflow and is added to the Case Timeline. The email and attachments can be opened on a mobile device but users receive a message at the top of the email stating "Read-only: you do not have access to edit Email Messages", yet the user can do so when running Dynamics 365 on a PC browser. Issue is not security permissions related. The Send button is not present on the mobile app.

Many of our staff are field based and rely on mobile phones to interact with Dynamics. This limitation with the Phone app for simply sending an automated email is not understandable and needs to resolved as a high priority.
