When creating out of box Word Templates and inserting 1:N data into a repeating table, there is no ability to filter which records are displayed.

For example, the subgrid on the Dynamics 365 form may exclude inactive records, but when adding the the Word Template table, it lists both active and inactive, which doesn't meet most use cases.

I understand some third party solutions offer this feature, but it would be nice to be available in the out of box Dynamics Word Templates. Thanks!
