Currently, when a project is setup in a legal entity, the project manager must have an employment relationship with that same legal entity. This is a significant limitation, as global companies frequently ask project managers from company A to manage projects in company B.
When assigning project manager, allow the user to select from any global worker, and not only those within the project's particular legal entity.

Hi Zvika, you can't "simply" create a second employment if HR is also using D365FO to support their processes. Hi Josh, we've extended the project manager lookup previously to accommodate this. No serious issues. Worfklow assignments was used but no project team & planning.

We wholeheartedly agree with this request. Any larger project-centric organization would likely understand. We have no need or desire or benefit from creating additional employment records in companies (where they aren't employees).

Can't you simply create a second employment record in the company where you want to manage a project?
