As a wholesale retailer we have peak season from November to December. We can not upgrade our system during this timeframe. Then we immediately go into Year Close which we cannot risk any changes to the data in Jan. This then means that we miss out on the latest vendor 1099 updates from the government and must use a third party application to send the reporting to the government. Year end 1099 processing would be so much easier if we were to remove the 1099 yearly update from the upgrade process and make it it's own extension that we can install as soon as the extension is available with out risking a data upgrade during crucial fiscal year end closure.
