Support local path for URL file type in D365FO document management

With D365FO document management I can store links with the document type "URL". I can store a link to a local network path as well. But when I try to open the system always shows the message that pop-ups are not allowed. According to MS Support that is because local path is not supported. Please support local path as well.

We have exact same issue. Issue is not in FO, but in modern browsers. Local path still needs to be supported for FO customers.
