When activate a quote, the quote is Read-only, however, user can alter the price of the quote product, hence changing the Quote’s total amount. We don’t want an Active (ie locked) Quote to be changed after it has been shared with the customers. It should have to go through the Revise process for that.

For example, sales reps who could only generate quotes that used price list pricing, and then sales managers who could adjust/override the price list pricing. However, doing that after the quote is activated doesn't make sense to me and could lead to bad outcomes with the customer. Changing the details should be done by having to do a revision so that details are editable etc
