We are finding that in many cases the ability to search for a specific product is hindered by the limited search options in D365. The SearchName is intended for searching is limited to very few characters.
In the idea listed below it is suggested that the Product name be added for searching.

In addition it would be useful to allow searching based on product description (can hold quite a bit of information to allow users to find items) and in addition the product attributes would also be useful to be able to search on. e.g. 'Model' as a product attribute - and search for all products for a particular model.
