In the idea listed below it is suggested that the Product name be added for searching.

In addition it would be useful to allow searching based on product description (can hold quite a bit of information to allow users to find items) and in addition the product attributes would also be useful to be able to search on. e.g. 'Model' as a product attribute - and search for all products for a particular model.

This suggestion is a no brainer. We search based on product description information often. The main searching should act like a google or bing search engine. Looking through multiple fields to retunr the best result in the least amount of time. Thanks

We had to customise the item dropdown to add product attributes for search. Its a good idea.
