The quantity buy function in BC only counts numbers per item.
I now use Powerblox for calculating quantity buy per sales item group.
For example the quantity buy on a specific item is 10% discount if you buy 10 or more.
If this particular item is available in various sizes; for example, a customer should be able to buy 5 of size A and 5 of size B and still have 10% discount because the total of this item is 10.
I hope you understand and you can develope this way of calculating.
