I wanted to flag a limitation we’re encountering in BC related to EFT remittance advice emails.


For some vendors, we have multiple EFT bank accounts set up, each associated with a different email address. However, BC currently pulls the email address from the vendor card when sending remittance advice, rather than from the specific vendor bank account used for the payment. As a result, the email address must be manually updated each time, which is inefficient and increases the risk of error.


I understand this could be resolved through an extension that pulls the email address directly from the vendor bank account specified on the payment journal. I’d like to request that the BC development team consider adding this functionality for users.
