Would it be possible to create an automated process to update quarterly item price (Cost) based on cost group to update the lowest level of items in a formula first up to the highest level which are dependent on the active item price of items at lower levels. Currently you have to run a query to filter each formula level if the configuration exists within the cost group field to classify items and update separately in order before all items can be considered active and updated. Can this process also include a copy of the final active item price of the highest level of item (selling unit) to be copied into another legal entity linked through intercompany transactions. This would ensure a cohesive, accurate and efficient process especially in either standard cost or FIFO costing methodology.
