Currently for India GST on Services and non inventory items one has to select the GL account on sales quote, Sales order, Purchase Order. Since capturing of locations on Non inventory items is planned in 2021 Release Wave 2 (https://experience.dynamics.com/ideas/idea/?ideaid=8dbb27f8-e08d-e911-80e7-0003ff689ebe ) I feel that the calculation of GST functionality should also be aligned with the capturing of locations for such items ( calculation of India GST is based on locations).

This would eliminate the need of creating GL accounts for non inventory items and the COA would be more concise. Further asking non finance users from purchase and sales department to select gl accounts for the purpose of taxation would be improper.
