The Qualify Lead screen is not configurable. Although there is embedded functionality from this form (creating other entities), I have been in a number of situations where we’d like to configure the form.

Convert Lead dialog box cannot be customized.
Specifically, we have an "Existing Account" field on the Lead form that we would like to map to the "Potential Customer" field on the Convert Lead dialog box.
(Similarly to how the Currency field is mapped from the Lead record to the Convert Lead dialog box)

Thank you for your suggestion. This is not possible because of non-cofigurability of the options in lead convert dialogue. You can try writing workflow rules to covert lead and have these fields.
