In Dynamics 365, it should be possible to create views of different types or convert an existing view to a different type. Currently, the system only allows one view per type (e.g., Lookup View, Quick Find View, Associated View, Advanced Find View), and only supports creating new views as Public Views.

This is very limiting. For example, when I create a Public View for use in a chart and include it in an app, it becomes visible in all contexts — including the main grid of the entity — even when I don’t want it to be.

There is no way to restrict a view to a specific context (e.g., only for lookup, only for chart). If we could create multiple views of each type or assign context-specific visibility to Public Views, it would greatly improve flexibility and user experience.
