If a user has the "Create" permission for a field but not "Read" permission then when they create a new record they can edit the field but there is the 6 asterisk mask that makes it difficult to input and see.  The user IS ABLE to see lookup values but NOT ABLE to see optionset selected or single line of text and multiline of text entered.  I am unsure of Date Time 



Please remove the mask on create when the user has create permissions for the field.
