In the Item Template, and as a default for all new items, Reordering Policy should be Lot-for-Lot, Include Inventory and Critical should be set to True. At a MINIMUM, everything that is set on an Item Template should be placed on the new Item card when creating an item from the Catalog Item. Currently, Include Inventory, Critical, and Indirect Cost do not carry over even though they are on the Item Template used in the Catalog Item. This caused duplicate orders to be placed because the system will not use current inventory on hand even after you have ordered it and it is in stock. The Planning Worksheet suggests to order it again.
