The Lead Qualification screen does not allow a user to Qualify a Lead if the user is not given privileges to the Opportunity, Contact, or Account.

I believe Microsoft was anticipating all users would convert the Lead to one of those entities, so the Qualify is bound to the rights on those entities. Users should still be able to qualify a Lead without necessarily selecting a conversion entity.

Hello Luke, thank you for your feedback! I have a clarification question. Can you please help describe a scenario you are looking to achieve that does not require converting the lead into another entity but still qualify it? thanks!
