We were trying to migrate project transactions from company A to company B. The project transactions in company A comprised mostly of labor charges billed from the common parent company where all employees resided. We tried uploading the transactions through Data management to a beginning balance journal in company B. The upload template was populated with data retrieved from company A. We encountered an upload error because the resource ID's in the upload file didn't exist in company B. We tried to create the resources in company B (Organization administration>Resources>Resources) but it's currently not supported. Only employees and contractors are available for resources and not workers. Company B has the same workers as in company A and the parent company. It just doesn't have any employees. Without the resource ID's in the migrated data, it's difficult to do reporting and analysis by resource. Hope this functionality can be added in future release to ease our pain point.
