The system should always stop postings with blank financial dimensions if the account structure is restricted to not allowing any blank values. The system currently allows some ledger postings to have blank values in the financial dimensions which have been restricted by the account structure.

An example of this: When a transaction in foreign currency without any financial dimensions is posted on the customer account and then the transaction is revaluated with the Dimension setting ‘Posting’ (Nothing to be retrieved from the transaction, but the account structure requires a specific financial dimension.) The system then posts the revaluation without financial dimensions and does not alert the user or stop error log the posting.

The Idea is therefore to have the standard behavior of the system to follow what would be expected from the account structure – That postings without financial dimensions on accounts that are restricted to not allow blanks should not be possible.
