Currently, in the model-driven app dashboard designer component properties dialog, the "Label" field is completely greyed out and read-only.
While the official documentation states that this property is meant to determine the text that appears at the top of the chart/list component, users are forced to display only the original system chart name or entity view name. This creates a significant limitation when trying to build clean, business-tailored personal or system dashboards, as we cannot contextualize the same chart/list under different titles within the same dashboard view.
A previous idea on this topic was closed with a note suggesting it had been resolved via enhancements, but the core limitation remains present in current vanilla environments.
We request that Microsoft fully unlock the "Label" text field in the dashboard component properties, allowing system customizers and end-users to input custom strings to display as headers on the dashboard layout.
