Currently assigned Item Charges are not included as part of expected costs when that feature is turned on, however it would be good if there was at least the option to toggle that on, as some clients perform margin/profit analysis on the bases of all-in expected costs, including shipping/freight/etc.
Comments
Hi,it is surprising that Microsoft did not consider including this as part of standard functionality in Business Central. Item charges can make up a significant element of landed cost of inventory and currently users are unable to recognise the expected cost of item charges in BC. It is therefore impossible to establish accurate selling prices as inventory is carried at inaccurate values up to the point when all related cost such as freight, duty, clearance and others are invoiced. This is particularly important when there is a large timing gap between the receipt of goods and the receipt of purchase invoices for all aforementioned costs.

Yes, this is vitally important when Freight/Duty costs make up a significant part of an items cost.
