Make it possible to Forecast Annually in D365 Sales (now only Quarterly and Monthly)

Today its only possible to forecast per quarter or month. I would like to be able to choose an Annual Forecast where I can track Year to date numbers.

While I get a lot of companies suffice with monthly or quarterly, having a yearly view to track year to date would be incredibly helpful.
