For businesses with a high volume of open sales orders, maintaining accurate promised shipment and delivery dates is critical to providing reliable information to customers.

The current Order Promising functionality in Business Central works well on an individual sales order, but it requires users to open each order and manually run Order Promising (ATP/CTP) to refresh the dates. This is not practical for organisations managing hundreds or thousands of open orders where inventory availability changes frequently due to purchase receipts, transfer receipts or inventory adjustments.

It would be valuable for Business Central to include standard functionality to:

• Recalculate Order Promising for multiple open sales orders in a single process.
• Allow the process to be scheduled through the Job Queue.
• Optionally recalculate only sales orders affected by changes in inventory availability.
• Allow businesses to define rules for processing order priority (for example, first come first served or requested shipment date).

Providing a standard bulk Order Promising capability would reduce manual effort, improve the accuracy of customer promise dates, and help organisations deliver a better customer experience without requiring custom development.

I actually think this is a strong enhancement request. Accurate ETAs are fundamental to customer service, and most modern ERP systems are moving towards event-driven updates rather than expecting users to revisit every open order manually. This feels like a natural evolution of Business Central's Order Promising functionality.
