In D365 it is possible to setup notes as an attachment on most transactions/master data. The "notes" field (DocuRef_Notes) in which the notes are displayed is very limited in size especially compared to the allowed string size.

An example:

We want to store notes related to the customer as an internal attachments, these notes are regularly 2000+ characters.For a user it is practically impossible to efficiently read or edit these notes since they are displayed in a small text box.

There should be a better solution available in standard d365 to display the data in this field when it contains a lot of characters.Either by making the default text box bigger or to dynamically adjust the size based on the content of the field.
