It is currently challenging to determine if an in-app notification has been read. When a user closes the notification window, the notification count and the blue indicator line, which signifies new notifications, disappear. However, the user has not actively dismissed any notifications. This makes it difficult for users to track which notifications have been viewed.

To improve this, the notification system should function similarly to Outlook or Teams, where the notification count remains visible until the user clicks on the notification.
