Clients have requested the functionality to cancel a Sales Order with a cancellation Reason.
They wish to report on all cancelled Sales Order by Reasons.
The Sales Order Archive is a step towards this, but with the addition of cancellation reasons.

I have received the same request as canceled sales orders information can be used to analyze possible Supply Chain issues, prices too high, order fulfillment problems, and other reasons.
I have also received a request to partially cancel back-order quantities instead of changing the original quantity.
