When adding attachments to a customer, vendor or item, the attachment should be copied when the main record is copied into another legal entity. This would work well for Sales Tax, Tax Exemption, 1099, or other major documentation.

There really is a need for this kind of functionality. However, the solution design should focus on "sharing" the attachments across legal entities rather than "copying" them.
