When creating a timeline within an entity form (like Opportunity), it's possible to configure it to show labels such as "Description" or "Type." However, when viewing the same timeline through a dashboard, those labels don’t appear because the dashboard uses a default layout that doesn’t support label customization.

It would be much more convenient if all labels were visible directly in the dashboard timeline—without needing to click into each individual entry to see the details.
