while clicking on (+) sign in look up of Potential customer field in opportunity entity, quick create form of contact is getting opened.

Concern:

Needs to have account quick create form while clicked on (+) sign in potential customer field.
And if we click on look up of potential customer field we should be able to see both contact and accounts records.
Is this possible to have this change in upcoming release of CRM online 2013.

We are also facing this issue in CRM Online 2013, Users end up creating Contact instead of Account when clicking on the shortcut 'New' in the Opportuhnity Potential Customer field.. Hopefully it is fixed in the next release.

Yes, quick create should be eligible whether you want to create contact or company record, like it is selectable in the lookup. @Anu: In the inline lookup, there are both types of records (in OOB). As a workaround, you could scroll to the bottom of the inline lookup and open the "old" lookup dialog, choose "account" and then click the "New" button. Not nice, but works...
