The new CRM 2016 Word templates cannot be used in conjunction with the old "mail merge" logic, nor can we use the IF statement in the developer mode because we cannot check on the XML fields entered in the word template.
In my opinion this is a mayor setback. And a deal breaker for one of our customers.
I would love to use some more logic or scripting possibilities to use in the templates an be able to export a nice word document from CRM.
