SIX has announced the discontinuation of the Swiss LSV+/BDD direct debit procedures effective 30 September 2028. LSV is widely used in Switzerland for recurring customer payments, and its phase‑out creates a significant functional gap for customers using Dynamics 365 Business Central.

Some banks are already rejecting LSV files in the old format used by Business Central

SIX has positioned eBill Direct Debit as the long‑term replacement for LSV, enabling recurring collections with digital authorizations managed in eBill. In addition, standard eBill invoicing remains a key payment method for Swiss customers.

Currently, there is no standard functionality in Business Central to support:

  • eBill Direct Debit as a replacement for LSV
  • Native integration with the SIX eBill infrastructure for invoicing and recurring payments

Ask:

Please consider providing a standard Swiss payment solution in Business Central to address the LSV decommissioning, for example:

  • Native support for eBill Direct Debit
  • Standardized eBill invoice integration
  • Clear guidance or extensibility patterns aligned with SIX requirements

This would help Swiss customers transition away from LSV in a compliant and future‑proof way without relying solely on custom or bank‑specific solutions.

Business impact

Without a standard replacement, customers risk:

  • Increased customization costs
  • Fragmented payment processes
  • Delays in complying with SIX and bank requirements before the LSV end date
