Picture on Item Variant Record

Item variants are typically used when there are variations of a product available such as a colour or size. It would be very useful to be able to load a picture specifically for an item variant so when viewing the list the user can see the differences in variants.

This is a very simple customization, just add field of type media or media set to table extension.

We have a fashion solution for many years and our customers do not want a picture for every variant, but only per color. This is a custom table with a media set field.

So in my opinion there is no need for Microsoft to add a media field to the variant table.

this is essential requirement for customers in certain sectors like fashion and fashion accessories, which is big market for business central
