Warehouse app task validation is used to generate test cases for warehouse app operations. Users can record the operations in warehouse app using warehouse app task validation and store them in D365 for future runs.

Once all recordings are done user can perform automated testing using RSAT suite.

Issue is that the environment in which recording is stored needs database refresh as clients always wants to perform the testing on the latest database. Performing a database refresh means losing all hard worked warehouse app recordings. (As they are stored in warehouse app task validation tables)

Only way is to export all recordings from D365 and import them back again after the database refresh is done. Most of the time this is not feasible and is time consuming and prone to errors leaving recordings useless.

Questions is what ideal way is to handle the warehouse app task validation testing? Never perform database refresh on the test env?

We are looking for some experts advice here.
