It's not possible to add more than one worker in Maintenance job type defaults or another set up for the schedule of the work order
When trying to schedule a work order via Asset management > periodic > work order > Schedule work order, it schedules only a worker for the work orders, even if they have different trades. Only I'll schedule more workers If I add the workers in each work order.
In some industries, for maintenance plans is necessary plan more than one worker.

I hope this gets the support it needs to make it on the roadmap. Most of our maintenance workers will work in pairs and there are some jobs that require 3 people. This does not include jobs that involve hot work or confined spaces when an additional attendant is required to complete the job. Either way forecasting and scheduling are not correct and it is a trade off between the forecast and having to manually schedule work orders.

Most circumstances especially corrective maintenance on complex machines require more than one worker to troubleshoot, also in case of preventive maintenance more than one type of activity is planned simultanuesly to monimize machine stop, the different activities required different skills. I think the fact that it is not possible to assign more than 1 worker is a major gap for the Asset Management module of D365.

Thank you for your feedback. Currently this is not in our roadmap; however, we are tracking it and if we get more feedback and votes, we may consider it in the future.
