I recently had two problems regarding CRM Dynamics, which also could not be solved by the support. The reason given was "Decision By-Design" and I was told to submit implementation ideas as it is unclear whether this will be considered by the Dynamics team in the future.

Therefore, I would like to bring two of my recent problems closer to you and submit design ideas.

1. Customised Word templates can be used in CRM Dynamics to create customised invoices, quotes or purchase orders. These can be created using the "Export to PDF" button.

The problem I had and still have is that I would like to use the IF statement function in the Word templates to show hidden items in the PDF files.

For example, the discount position: A discount should only be displayed in the invoice if the value of the rich text value is not zero. To do this, one could use the IF statement of Word and thus query the values. Then upload this customised template to CRM Dynamics and use it for future invoices.

The problem: The rich text values are not read correctly or not read at all in the IF statements after export to the PDF file.

2. Default fields like "description" cannot be changed afterwards.

The description filed under the opportunity close cannot be set to business required.

It would be very helpful if the default fields could be changed. This would save the mapping to new fields.
