Customer Insights - Journeys currently limits the lead scoring model builder because scoring criteria can only be combined in a much more constrained way than the segment builder. In practice, the lack of native OR logic makes it difficult to model real-world scoring rules and significantly reduces the usefulness of the feature for lead qualification.
This is especially frustrating because OR logic already exists in Microsoft’s segment builder, where users can choose between AND and OR operators when combining conditions. That shows the platform already supports this type of logic in a comparable builder experience.
Adding native OR conditions to the lead scoring model builder would make scoring more flexible, reduce the need for workarounds, and better reflect how marketing teams actually evaluate lead intent and fit.
