Aboutn the payment automation, would be a good idea not to create the journal header for the payment journal with an empty payment proposal inside it.
otherwise the user has to maintain the Journal list that could spread a lot.

I agree here, our customers experience the same behavour. If the scheduled payment proposal automation job results in zero matches, the vendor payment journal is created. Leaving many open and empty vendor journals in the list.
