In Ax2012 there used to be a function which would delete the General journal transactions instantly. Although this function is still available, the instant deletion isn't.
It would be good to bring this functionality back as deleting journals is taking up a long time.

The ability to automatically delete journals after posting will not be added back. This is because the journals are often necessary for auditing, tax reports, etc. Instead, the ability to remove the journals will be addressed through an archiving solution, to ensure the journals and vouchers are available for auditors.
